Managing of own HTML pages
Own files (HTML pages) can locally be stored in the cache archive.
You can search for words, domains and URLs in a cache archive. Several search criterias are combined with operation AND.
If a URL isn't available then you get a fault message from the MM3-WebAssistant.
Marking locally available URL
All resources available in active archives can be marked e.g. green when surfing. So you get a fast summary, which resources already archived, and
thus locally available.
You can use the marking during a retrieval with an internet search machine. Links to pages you have already read can be marked with that. Activate the Surf Sets/Marks/Links/Online-Modus to this.
When surfing in the on-line mode newly available texts are marked e.g. blue.
Filter for Archival
These settings determine which and how resources will be archived.
Filter for Advertising
Resources not relevant to you can be filtered to avoid unnecessary costs for data transmission and memory space.
Filter for Session
To identify users, some providers use temporary identifiers in the URL. These identifiers are eliminated.
Starting from a HTML page you can mirror complete sites in an adjustable depth with this option.
Update Cache Archiv
The links to pages already archived are followed up by one or several start pages. Changed pages are stored in an update archive.
Besides the request for a URL with the browser you also can now display and navigate in the directory structure of the cache archive
with the command ls.
The check regarding a new version of the MM3-WebAssistant
can be carried out automatically.
